1999

From skinny to strong

It all started in my teen years. I had always been very thin so I decided to start working out in my parents basement. Ab rollers, thigh masters, buns of steel VHS tapes, and every episode of Bodybreak. Eventually I made my way into the gym and fell in love with the feeling of having muscle and of being strong, confident and capable.

2007

All in

I caught the bug and was all-in in the world of fitness. From the competition stage to magazine covers and the expo circuit I was living my best spray-tanned life. While this was an exciting, whirlwind of a time I also learned a ton - from how to train for function vs esthetic and properly fuel myself, to how to build a business and find success on my own terms

Connecting through YouTube

After becoming a certified trainer and nutrition coach I used what I had learned to help others achieve results in a realistic and sustainable way. After moving to a new city I wanted to stay connected to my training clients back home. I started online group challenges that I filmed from my tiny condo living room and then shared with them privately on YouTube.

2020

The program that started it all

HR12WEEK 1.0 was intended to be another private program that I would sell to clients for a fee. The decision to publish it on YouTube for free helped to remove any financial barriers and make it accessible to everyone - allowing me to reach even more people. While this felt like a risky decision at the time - it was a choice that completely changed the trajectory of my career.

2024

A global community

Three months after publishing my first YouTube program the global pandemic hit and I reached 1M subscribers in just over a year. Now more than ever people were in need of coaching, support and connection. Six HR12WEEK programs and over 1000 videos later, the HR community continues to grow - with millions of members cheering each other on from across the world.

2025

Raising the bar

With the launch of this new platform I'm able to raise the bar and provide an even better fitness experience. I can share what I love in a way that provides further value and allows me to easily connect with my community - In this next chapter we will move, learn and build together!
