I love putting salsa on everything! Eggs, rice bowls, fresh fish… Many store bought salsas are loaded with sodium or unnecessary sugars. It’s so easy to whip up your own version with a few fresh ingredients! Try out this fresh tomato salsa recipe and I promise you won’t go back to those store bought versions 🙂
Ingredients
4 roma tomatoes
1/2 red onion
1/2 cucumber
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1 garlic clove, mined
1/2 tsp cumin
Juice from 1 small lime
Sea salt to taste
Directions
Chop tomatoes, red onion and cucumber. I like my salsa a little chunky so I don’t cop them up too fine. Combine all veggies in a bowl and add cilantro, garlic, cumin, lime juice and salt. Stir to combine. Serve slightly chilled and store leftovers in the fridge in a sealed container.
