Natural Foot Scrubs

Flip flop season is upon us and our feet are sure to take a bit of a beating. Using ingredients straight out of your pantry you can save time and money while giving yourself some well deserved pampering. Try out these three DIY all natural foot scrubs to help sooth dry, cracked or tired feet!

Sugar Scrub

1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp brown sugar or coconut sugar
1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Combine all ingredients and mix well to create a thick sticky consistency. Rub onto feet in a circular motion focusing on extra dry areas such as the heels. Wipe off with a warm wet towel and rinse off any access scrub.

Salt Scrub

1 cup ground Himalayan salt
2 drops peppermint or lavender oil
1/4 – 1 cup warm water

This recipe can be used as a scrub or a soak. Just add more warm water to create a soothing salt soak. Try out different essential oils. Peppermint is great for tired aching feet!

Oat Scrub

1/4 cup ground oats
1/4 cup ground natural almonds
3 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp honey

Grind oats and almond into a course powder. Stir in oil and honey. Rub onto feet in a circular motion focusing on extra dry areas such as the heels. Wipe off with a warm wet towel and rinse off any access scrub.
