This is a healthy comfort food recipe that my clients are always asking me for. Whipping up a batch of classic protein waffles is an easy way to get that serving of protein in at breakfast. Make them up the way you like by adding different fruits or top with greek yogurt, raw honey or pure maple syrup!

1 1/2 cup non fat cottage cheese
1 1/2 cup rolled oats
6 whole eggs
6 egg whites
2 tbsp raw honey
Blend ingredients together. Pour 1/6 of batter at a time over a pre-heated, greased waffle iron. Cook until waffle is cooked through and golden brown.
Topping suggestions – fresh berries, Greek Yogurt, honey, nut butter or 100% organic maple syrup.
