one package extra-firm organic Tofu
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
2 Tbsp gluten free Tamari
2 Tbsp water
2 tsp sesame oil
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp raw honey
1 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated
Drain tofu, and press extra liquid out of it
Mix all other ingredients and put them in a small glass dish or bowl.
Slice tofu into two steaks (like you were cutting a deck of cards) Place tofu steaks in dish with marinade and chill in fridge for several hours or over night. Turn the tofu every so often to be sure to evenly coat.
Remove tofu steaks from the marinade and place them directly into a non-stick skillet or BBQ on medium heat and cook on both sides until golden brown.
