Weighted Step Ups

  1. Stand facing a box or bench of an appropriate height with your feet together. Hold a dumbbell in each hand, palms facing in.
  2. Step up, placing your left foot on the top of the bench. straighten the leg, pushing in to the heel, to stand up on the box. Touch the right foot down on the platform to balance.
  3. Reverse this motion to step down off the box.
  4. Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions on each side.
